The Bridgestone Turanza T005 has been awarded the first place by the German independent testing and certification institute TÜV SÜD AG for cornering and braking in rainy driving conditions compared to the performance of 4 major competitors. Also, based on internal Bridgestone testing, it has been found that the Turanza T005 has a 10% longer life than previous Turanza T001 EVO tires.
To achieve high efficiency, Bridgestone engineers put together a state-of-the-art wet package of tread materials and designs. The Bridgestone Turanza T005, a premium tire, allows you to “master your journey, even on a rainy day”.
OPTIMIZED SAMPLE DESIGN
High volume grooves in the shoulder improve water flow, and optimized channel distribution in the center of the profile ensures water runoff in the middle of the contact surface. Increased resistance to deformation thanks to clamps between shoulder blocks, ensuring even shoulder contact during braking.
IMPROVED KARKASA
Unique support made of steel and solid polyester provides better adhesion and less rolling resistance to reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.
NEW MIXTURE MIXING TECHNOLOGY
New blending technology enhances the dispersion of silica in the high silica content of Nano Pro-tech ™. Synergy with the sample and the mixture increases the adhesion in the foot for better wet adhesion.
