In line with our environmental focus, we decided to invest in our own solar power plants.
The project was completed in September 2013 in collaboration with Solektra d.o.o. and Solvis d.o.o .. Three integrated solar power plants were built at the production and business premises of Gumiimpex-GRP. Two 221 kW power plants at the 64 c Pavleka Miškina site and one 999 kW in the Varaždin Free Zone, which is also the largest integrated solar power plant built in Croatia.
Gumiimpex-GRP will emit about 16,835 tonnes of carbon dioxide over the 30 years of operation of these solar power plants, compared to the electricity produced by conventional fossil fuel power plants.
